For almost four years, The Lodge has been collaborating with Deviate Films and Red Bull to produce cutting edge ski films, that also serve as promotional cutdowns for social media marketing. The films have gone on to win multiple awards at film festivals as well as gathering millions of views across social media and Youtube. The Lodge takes pride in managing all arms of production for these films as well as all of the branding and art direction.
Challenge
The Lodge’s challenge here was to marry the elite skills of the athletes in front of the lens with the same kind of talent behind the lens and in post production. Bringing together a team with a diversity in background and skill has proved fruitful for The Lodge x Deviate Films in delivery a film product for Red Bull. See our films from 2020-2022 here:

Beyond the final cut of the film, The Lodge produces and consults in individual clip placement and other forms of footage cutdowns for social media, for Red Bull and other participating sponsors. This has resulted in an exponential bump in viewership and brand awareness, with many of the posts engaging with hundreds of thousands of viewers.
Challenge
Art Direction and Motion Design are at the core of all of The Lodge’s production in motion film. This is something that is often slept on in the ski film world and has made these films stand above the rest.
Jack Byers, the fine artist brought into each of the last three projects, has brought a signature look to each film, with its own identifiable style that has also carried over to various collateral including film posters, clothing, and ad placements.
